Our all natural Plum Extract & Brown Sugar* confection (plum bar) uses the highest quality
of plum extract (Japanese apricot, mei) at 5% per bar (traditionally similar ones are only 2%)
and the finest natural dark brown sugar. Our organic plum extract is 100% pure with organic
acid at 55.8%, and the concentration level is 60 times plus! It is the world highest alkaline
food product, and is 100% handmade.
Natural brown sugar is raw sugar which is a brown sugar produced from the first
crystallization of the sugar cane. As such "natural brown sugar" is free of additional dyes and
chemicals. There is more molasses in natural brown sugar, giving it a higher mineral content.
Sugars with high molasses content are darker, stickier and have a stronger flavor (Molasses
sugar is a kind of brown granular sugar). Molasses is considered an alkalizing food item.
